ABSTRACT

@#Modulating drug release from liposomes at tumor sites are important for eliciting therapeutic effects of platinum drugs considering their low permeability through liposomal membranes, here a novel secretory phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) responsive-liposome system was constructed for oxaliplatin (L-OHP).Lipid ingredients dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine and distearoyl phosphoethanolamine-PEG2k, together with facial amphiphiles (FAs) including lithocholic acid (LCA) or 3-keto lithocholic acid (kLCA) were used to prepare sPLA2 responsive-liposome (LCA-Lip or kLCA-Lip) by thin-film hydration method. The physicochemical properties, sPLA2-responsive drug release and anti-tumor activity were evaluated in vitro. The results indicated L-OHP loaded liposomes modified with FAs had similar particle sizes of approximately 100 nm and narrow size distributions (PDI < 0.11).Compared with non-FAs-containing liposomes (C-Lip), LCA-Lip or kLCA-Lip has a comparable entrapment efficiency and loading efficiency.LCA-Lip or kLCA-Lip didn't show significant higher drug leakage at the presence of 10% or 50% fetal bovine serum (FBS) in media than that in media without FBS.Treated with secretory phospholipase A2 from Colo205 cells culture conditioned medium (CCM sPLA2) for 24 h, FAs modified liposomes released about 70% of carboxyfluorescein (CF), while C-Lip only released 20% of CF.Compared to L-OHP loaded C-Lip, L-OHP-loaded FAs-included formulations had much greater anti-proliferative activity against sPLA2-secreting Colo205 cells. In summary, our results shows that LCA or kLCA promotes responsiveness of liposomes to tumor-related sPLA2 and points to a new way to develop platium drugs-loaded liposomal delivery systems with better release mechanisms.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of ozone injection combined with extracorporeal shock wave in treatment of arthritis of perishoulderr. Methods 120 patients with arthritis of perishoulderr and treated were choiced, they were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in group C were performanced extracorporeal shock wave treatment.Patients in group H were performanced with ozone injection combined with extracorporeal shock wave.Visu-al analogue score(VAS)and rane of motion(ROM)were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups preoperation. Then significant difference of VAS in the two groups for 1week,1 month,3 months and 6 months after treatment showed respectively as (4.56 ±0.27)points vs.(2.49 ± 0.25)points,t =43.57,(3.96 ±0.23)points vs.(1.86 ±0.29)points,t =43.95,(3.36 ±0.20)points vs.(1.79 ± 0.25)points,t =36.51,(3.98 ±0.23)points vs.(2.09 ±0.27)points,t =41.29,P <0.05;The ROM data were respectively(55 ±18)points vs.(67 ±16)points,t =3.86,(60 ±20)points vs.(72 ±18)points,t =3.45,(56 ±19) points vs.(78 ±15),t =7.04,(46 ±18)points vs.(77 ±14)points,t =10.53,P <0.05.Patients feeled pain eased significantly in group H was significantly higher than group C in 6 month postoperativeiy.(χ2 =38.90,P <0.01;χ2 =8.91,P <0.05).Conclusion There is significant effect in patients with arthritis of perishoulderr treated by com-bined ozone injection with extracorporeal shock wave.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the characteristics of polysomnography (PSG) of depressed patients and the correlation between rapid eye movement (REM) and severity degree of depression. Methods Polysomnography was used to assess patients'sleep condition and Montgomery-Asberg depression scale (MADRS) was used to assess the severity degree of depression. 90 patients and 30 healthy controls were included. Results Compared to healthy controls, sleep progress of depressed patients changed as follow:prolonged sleep latency((25.2 ±15.25) minutes) ,lowered sleep efficiency(0.853 ±0.11) ;the architecture of sleep also changed:percentage of stage 1 increased( (27.7 ± 16.38) % ),percentage of REM sleep increased( (22. 8 ± 6. 1 ) % ) , percentage of stage 2 decreased ((40.2±11.3)%), percentage of slow wave sleep decreased ((11.8 ±9. 32)%); REM sleep significantly changed; decreased REM latency((79. 27 ±30. 44) minutes) , increased REM activity((129. 0 ±53. 12) u) .increased intensity of REM((36.7 ±14.0)u/min), increased REM density((159.2 ±57.2)u/min) were observed in depressed patients. There was no obvious correlation between the variance of REM and severity degree of depression. Conclusion There are a series of changes in sleep progress, architecture and REM sleep of depression and the change of REM sleep can be specified to diagnose depression. However, there is no causality between REM variance and severity of depression.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the prevalence and severity degree of post traumatic stress disorder(PTSD), anxiety and depression, and to explore the different mental profile in different groups involved with an earthquake. Methods 26 days after 8.0 grade earthquake in Wenchuan, psychological rescue team of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine went to some communities in Deyang and Mianzhu area of Sichuan province. In this period, a total of 119 survivors, including students(42), teacher(40) and masses(37), were investigated through impact of event scale (IES), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS). Results①The detection rate of score over 19 in IES in 3 groups (students, teacher and masses) were 69%, 80% and 91.9%, respectively. There was significant difference among these 3 groups (F=5.611, P=0.005<0.01) in respect of severity degree of PTSD. ②The values of severity degree of anxiety in 3 groups were significant higher than normal value (P<0.001, all). There was also significant difference among these 3 groups (F=3.376, P=0.038<0.05) in respect of severity degree of anxiety, with the masses group being significant higher than student and teacher group (P=0.029, P=0.022, respectively). ③The values of severity degree of depression in these 3 groups were significant higher than normal value (P<0.05, all). But there was no significant difference (F= 0.670, P=0.514) among these 3 groups. ConclusionThe results suggested the importance to assess PTSD, anxiety and depression in post-disaster area, especially PTSD and anxiety evaluations in the masses group.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the construction of TCM psychological crisis interventional theoretical system. Methods Based on the experience of TCM psychological medical group participated in the crisis intervention therapy after the earthquake,we draw a theoretical conclusion and made arrangement from the perspective of the disciplinary development of TCM psychology.Result We developed some assumptions to build the TCM psychological crisis intervention theory which conformed to the Chinese situation. Conclusion The building of crisis intervention theory must conform to Chinese situation and Can be applicable to lead the practice. The theory in this article should be enriched and improved in practice later.
